The University of Pécs, founded in 1367, is the oldest university in Hungary and one of the leading higher education institutions in Central Europe. Today, the university hosts more than 20,000 students and offers a wide range of study programs across various academic disciplines.

The Faculty of Health Sciences plays an important role in education and research in health sciences, with particular emphasis on nursing science, healthcare education, and interdisciplinary research.

The conference will be held in Pécs, a historic university city in southern Hungary with a rich cultural heritage and vibrant academic life. The city was awarded the title of European Capital of Culture in 2010.

Pécs is easily accessible from Budapest, where Hungary’s main international airport is located. Regular train and bus connections operate between Budapest and Pécs, with a travel time of approximately 2.5–3 hours.
